Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Subscription Cancellation

How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the following methods:

  • Online: Access your account settings and click "Cancel Subscription"
  • Email: Send a cancellation request to contact@noobiesoft.com
  • Customer Portal: Use the Stripe Customer Portal for self-service cancellation

When Cancellation Takes Effect

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain access to all paid features until the end of your billing period
  • No partial refunds are provided for unused time in the current billing period

Post-Cancellation

  • Your account enters a grace period with limited access at the end of your billing period
  • You will lose access to premium features at the end of your billing period
  • The grace period does not last forever; you must subscribe to continue using the Service
  • Your data will be retained according to our data retention policy
  • Invoice data will be retained for 7 years for tax and accounting compliance
  • You may export your data before or after cancellation (personal data via Account Settings, workspace data via Workspace Settings)
  • You may reactivate your subscription at any time

2. Refund Policy

General Refund Policy

  • No Refunds for Partial Periods: We do not provide refunds for partial months of service
  • No Refunds for Unused Features: Refunds are not provided for unused features or storage
  • No Refunds for Downgrades: Downgrading your plan does not entitle you to a refund

Exceptions

We may provide refunds in the following circumstances:

Technical Issues

  • Service unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours
  • Significant data loss due to our technical failure
  • Critical security breach affecting your account

Billing Errors

  • Duplicate charges
  • Incorrect billing amounts
  • Charges for services not received

Special Circumstances

  • Death of the account holder
  • Permanent disability preventing use of the service
  • Other circumstances at our sole discretion

Refund Process

To request a refund:

  1. Contact contact@noobiesoft.com within 30 days of the charge
  2. Provide your account information and reason for the refund request
  3. Include any supporting documentation
  4. We will review your request within 5 business days
  5. Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days

Refund Method

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method
  • Processing time depends on your financial institution (typically 3-10 business days)
  • We cannot refund to a different payment method

3. Free Trial

Trial Period

  • New users receive a 14-day free trial of Pro plan features
  • No credit card or payment method required to start
  • Full access to Pro features during the trial

Trial Expiration

  • The trial ends automatically after 14 days
  • You are not charged when the trial ends
  • Your account enters a grace period with limited access at trial end
  • To continue using the Service, you must subscribe (no automatic charges)
  • The grace period does not last forever

Grace Period (Limited Access)

  • After trial expiration or subscription cancellation, your account has temporary limited access
  • Limited access includes: 1 workspace, 3 users, 100 MB storage, basic collaboration, Snake single-player
  • Forms, invoicing, assets, analytics, and premium games require an active subscription
  • You must subscribe to continue; the grace period does not last forever

4. Downgrade Policy

Plan Downgrades

  • You may downgrade your plan at any time
  • Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period
  • No refunds are provided for the difference in plan costs
  • You may lose access to features not included in the lower tier

Usage Limits After Downgrade

  • If you exceed the limits of your new plan, you may need to:
    • Remove excess content or users
    • Upgrade back to a higher tier
    • Contact support for assistance
  • In the grace period (limited access), you cannot create new invoices
  • Existing invoices remain accessible for viewing and export

5. Account Deletion

Requesting Account Deletion

  • You may request complete account deletion at any time
  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • Contact contact@noobiesoft.com to request account deletion

Data Retention After Deletion

  • Personal information is deleted within 30 days
  • Some data may be retained for legal or business purposes
  • Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by law
  • Invoice data is retained for 7 years for tax and accounting compliance
  • Client information is retained for 7 years for legal and regulatory purposes
  • You can request a copy of your data before deletion

6. Disputed Charges

Chargeback Policy

  • We encourage you to contact us before disputing charges
  • Chargebacks may result in immediate account suspension
  • We will work with you to resolve billing disputes

Resolution Process

  1. Contact contact@noobiesoft.com immediately
  2. Provide details about the disputed charge
  3. We will investigate and respond within 5 business days
  4. We may request additional information to resolve the dispute

7. Subscription Changes

Plan Changes

  • You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time
  • Upgrades take effect immediately
  • Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period
  • Prorated charges or credits may apply for mid-cycle changes

Price Changes

  • We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice
  • Existing subscribers are protected from price increases for their current billing period
  • Price changes will be communicated via email

  • Effective immediately for new subscribers
  • Effective 30 days after notification for existing subscribers
